I'll start with the pool as I spent most of my time there. These are in no order and surely not complete just some of what I remember. Ray Ciccarello: Me, I was there for 1 year while I was attending Denver Automotive and Diesel College. Barb Ward: she seemed to have seniority in the pool and was dating rich. She was also the most "mature" of our motley crew. She started there in '74. Lynn Stoezel: She was dating Al Morales, and in school for interior design I think or that’s what I remember talking about. Best part was water aerobics, I can't say I tried to make her laugh, but it looked so ridiculous how could you help it. Jean Tirawat: pool cashier the only one of the crew who was married. She was really a great person and good friend. Jean was married to a guy from Thailand, Pisak or Jim Tirawat. She got a job over at my school so I got to see her at lunch time. I remember doing brakes on her 66 fairlane wagon in winter in her mom's unheated garage. Froze my ass off but it was worth it to spend some time with her! Last I heard from her she said she was having a baby. Lynn Ranzenberger: The other Lynn, she was in school for nursing and was on call at a hospital so she didn't work much but was one of the best! I think I painted a door on her VW at her dad's house once. Loved to dive, I loved to watch! Denise Maes: Wow was this a sweet kid always a bright spot in your day. The towel heads from the AFA were always hitting on her. “you teach me swim, I pay you” Yea right! Lindy Ash: she was also a smart one, and lots of fun too. Lindy became a supervisor for a short time. Thanks Lindy! Kristen Crower: Very pretty young lady if I remember right. Wanda Ray: She seemed really young, I think she was the one who made her own suits. Excellent job if I remember right, only thing was….., when they got wet!!!! She always covered up quick, I guarantee she had nothing to be embarrassed by! Susan Witkin: I liked her a lot too, we use to talk frequently. Even use to write to her when she went to Israel to become more jewy or something. She had one leg shorter from a skiing accident, I use to kid her about that and other things too. Sue write me if you find this! Sue Piper: she was a latecomer but fun and bubbly nonetheless, killer hair down to her butt! Sam Millham: Another Wow! She was gorgeous and feisty! Joan Kenny: Surely we mustn’t forget her, she was also a "mature" one like barb, to keep all us punks in line. She came over and helped me make cream puffs one time for Jeans BD. Told you best job ever! Al Morales: Dated Lynn, don’t think he ever trusted me because I asked Lynn to move in with me to share rent. I was never there and it was $205 a month, her parents were a pain, I had an extra room. I didn’t see the problem. I thought he was cool, didn't mean to intrude, just looking to help out. Doug Samules: if ever there was a pool geek, remember in animal house: "Kent, Larry, meet Jugdish, Mohamed…." He hit on anything resembling a female in hopes of a yea ok, out of pity. Darren Irwin: For some reason they got me a helper? I did my duties and more, in less then 4 hours and I was there 8. Nonetheless, twice the fun! Darren went to DADC too, he was from Michigan. Rich Riedel: So called boss, he was worse than us! Lucky bastard dated Barb! Best quote “I sure hope it don’t bite on the way out” after chipping his tooth on a sandwich! Quinn Lovingood: Oddly enough she lives here in Jacksonville too. Quinn was a good one ya all. She was a supervisor. Cindy Blanchard: we were so mean to her, but only because we loved her! Cindy was a short lived supervisor, she got married and moved away. Mary Frank: I think she took over when Cindy got married. Mary had been there a long time, mostly worked day shift. Fun Center follows. Carroll Williamson: it was just bizarre to have him down there with us! Pat Barker: I married her, our first date was to a wedding of her friend Pam who lives near Tampa now. Lori Wolf: Queen of the suzihomemaker! Anne Karlsburg: God did she hate us! Don't know why, we were so much fun! Anita Sullivan: I think she was from buffalo, she was one of the gang. Pat Riley: I don't remember too much about her, I think after my time, but I did know her. And our leader: Mr. Pinball, WARREN RUBIN: not enough space to go into it but lets just say he instigated all our unruly behavior. And his Robin, Eric Eastman: use to work for TI in Texas, if he got stock back in 77 he is a millionaire now! And the bottom of the barrel: Mike Pascoe: all the girls labeled the creepy security guard! He would hit on your mother! |
